Regional biomass screening and Zambia pilot development

Client decision. Prioritise feedstock, land and operating options across Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe and translate the regional evidence into a practical pilot.

BEC role. Regional GIS and land screening, biomass and crop-system assessment, logistics and implementation analysis, followed by technical architecture and preliminary budgeting for an approximately 500-hectare pilot programme in Zambia.

Status. The regional study was delivered. The follow-on pilot architecture is under development; the pilot area is not presented as established or planted.

Actualmente, contribuye al desarrollo de cultivos de bioenergía y bioeconomía en países en desarrollo, en línea con los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.
